FAQS About Public Pages (Coming Soon)

Public pages are currently being beta tested.

Do visitors need an OrangeQC account to view public pages?

No. Public pages appear if someone who doesn't have an OrangeQC account scans the QR code for an area.

What happens if a logged-in OrangeQC user scans the QR code?

If the user has access for the QR code's area, they'll be taken to that area in the OrangeQC app. The QR code works as a normal shortcut for them.

How do user names appear on the page?

If you check the box for "Show user's name," their first initial and last name associated with the user account that submitted the form will appear on the line for that entry.

What information from the submission will show?

The page will automatically show the date and time the submission was made. If you check "Show user's name" and "Show form name," that information will also show. The page does not show scores, number of checklist items completed, photos, comments, or any other information.

Does the public page update automatically?

Yes, the page always shows the most recent submissions.

Are there any image or logo guidelines?

You'll want the logo to be at least 64 pixels tall so that it looks clear on a phone display. The page will automatically scale the image to fit.

Yes. If you enter a URL, an email address, or a phone number into the description field, they will automatically become tappable on the public page.

What if there are no submissions for a particular section?

The section will show text that says "No recent records."

How many pages can one area have?

Just one. The QR code for each area works as an all-in-one shortcut that responds based on who's scanning it.
