Set Up a New Public Page: Coming Soon

Public pages display when visitors scan QR codes at your locations. Instead of taking them to the OrangeQC app, the code will open a page you've customized. Public pages let building visitors view cleaning logs, see recent inspections times, find contact information to report a problem, and more.

This feature is currently being developed for private beta. To be notified when the beta becomes available, contact support@orangeqc.com.

How to Set Up a New Public Page

Step One: Create the Page

Before you can add sections and assign the page to specific areas, you'll need to create it.

  1. Open the Setup tab. You must have admin access to see this tab.
  2. Click "Landing Pages" in the left-hand sidebar. It's the bottom choice.
  3. Click the "+ New Landing Page" button in the right-hand corner. This will bring up a form to create the page.
  4. Fill in the page details. This includes the logo, title, and description. Everything you enter here will be visible to the public.
  5. Save. Tap the blue "Save" button in the lower right-hand corner.

Step Two: Create Sections

Once you create the page, you'll see new options for assigning areas and adding sections.

To create a sections:

  1. Add a new section. Click the "+ Add Section" button on the right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Choose the form submissions you want to pull information from. Click the "Edit Forms" button and select all of the inspection form and/or checklist submissions you want people scanning the QR code to see data on. Click "Save" to select these options and close the menu.
  3. Choose how many form submissions to display on the page. After "Showing last," use the drop-down menu to choose how many of the most recent inspection or checklist submissions to show, from one to ten.
  4. Choose whether or not to show the submitter's name. This will display the name from the user account that performed the inspection or completed the checklist. Names are displayed with a first initial and last name.
  5. Choose whether or not to show the form name. This will display the name of the checklist or inspection for each submission.
  6. Save the page. Your changes won't save until you click the blue "Save" button in the lower right-hand corner.

You can create as many sections as you'd like to appear on the page. For example, you might want to have the two most recent restroom cleanings appear at the top, followed by the two most recent inspections.

Step Three: Assign to Areas

Just like inspections and checklists, pages won't appear until they're assigned to an area.  For each area where you assign the page, the unique QR code for that area will pull up a public page reflecting only the completed checklists and submitted inspections for that area.

To assign the page to an area:

  1. Click "Edit Assignments." This is in the top-right corner.
  2. Choose the areas to assign. You'll need to choose every area you want the page assigned to.
  3. Click "Assign." This saves your assignment to all the areas selected.

The page will display information from the site or area you choose, as well as every area within it. You must assign the page to every area where you want it to appear.

For example, if you have a site for an office building and assign a page to that top-level site, the QR code will display the submitted forms from that site and all of the areas within it.

You can also assign pages from the area itself. There is a section for public pages in the right-hand sidebar.

Next, you'll want to download and print your QR codes for signage.
