Create and Use Groups

Groups allow you to quickly organize people within OrangeQC. Assigning work to a group helps ensure that nothing gets lost, even if a particular person happens to be out.

Create a New Group

  1. Click the People tab, then click on "Groups" at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar.
  2. Click "New Group" in the upper right-hand corner.
  3. Name the group.
  4. Use the drop-down menu to add users to the group.

Use Groups in OrangeQC

You can use groups to:

  • Assign tickets. Tickets can be assigned to individuals or to groups. (Users must have access to the area in order to be notified.)
  • Assign scheduled inspections.
  • Filter and search within reports.
