Create a Ticket on the Mobile App

You can create tickets on the OrangeQC app two different ways:

  • Within an inspection, by choosing the "Flag and Create Ticket" option before submitting.
  • From scratch, starting in the ticket inbox.

How to Create a Ticket From a Flagged Inspection

If inspectors find problems that need to be resolved while performing an inspection, they can flag the inspection.

Tickets created from flagged inspections include a link to view the full inspection report. If your team has ticket tasks enabled, the ticket will include a to-do list with any deficient or failing line items as well.

To flag an inspection and create a ticket, simply toggle the "Flag and Create Ticket" option before submitting.

How to Create a New Ticket

  1. Tap the "Tickets" icon at the bottom of the screen. This opens up your Ticket inbox.
  2. Tap the "+" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This opens up the form to create a new ticket.
  3. Fill out the ticket details. These include:
    • Location: The site or area the ticket applies to.
    • Category: The default categories are Complaint and Request, as well as Flagged Inspection for tickets created from inspections (see above). Your team may have also created custom categories for more organization.
    • Private: Toggle this on if you'd like the ticket to be private and viewable only by your internal team.
    • Subject and message: These will appear in your team's ticket inbox, as well as any emails the ticket generates.
    • Assign to: If a specific person or team will be responsible for resolving the ticket, you can add them here.
    • Due Date: If you toggle this option on, it will bring up a calendar and let you choose a date and time. Use this for time-sensitive issues.
    • Priority: Optional. Some teams use this to help triage the most important tickets.
    • Attachments: Any photos or files that help describe the issue or request. (For example, a photo of a corrective action, or a PDF of a requested room setup.)
  4. Tap "Save" in the upper right-hand corner. This creates your ticket, which you can now find in your ticket inbox.
