Do You Have the Right Android App?
In September 2025, we launched a new OrangeQC Android app built from scratch. It's faster, more reliable, and primed to get all of the latest features.
This an entirely new app, not a new version of the same app. This means everyone who uses OrangeQC on Android will need to download the new app and delete the old one, which will eventually stop working.
iOS users on your team don't need to do anything.
How to Check Which Android App You're Using
- Open the OrangeQC app on your Android device.
- Tap the "Account" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Check the app version number. If it begins with a 3, you are already using the right app. (Keep it updated to the latest version by enabling automatic updates or visiting your profile in the Google Play store.) If it begins with a 2, you have the old app and will need to download the new one.
Here is an example of how the screen should look if you are using the correct app:

How to Switch to the New Android App
If you are currently running the old version of OrangeQC:
- Download the OrangeQC Android app from the Google Play Store.
- Log into the app with your account name, username, and password.
- Delete the old OrangeQC app from your device after ensuring all of your uploads have been submitted. (All your information will be saved to your account.)
Troubleshooting
- Your device will need to be running Android 13 or higher. (If you are running an older version, the app will not appear in the Play Store.) You can download the latest version of the Android OS by going to Settings > System > Software updates.
- We recommend keeping your OS updated and allowing automatic updates for the OrangeQC app. This gets you the latest bug fixes and new features.
- If you can't remember your account name, username, or password, contact an administrator on your team.
