Move a Site or Area

You can move any site or area via the Setup tab. Watch this quick video tutorial, or scroll down for step-by-step instructions.

1. Open Setup tab, which is visible only to admin users.
2. Click on the site or area you want to move. This will bring up more details in the right-hand sidebar.

3. Click the "→ Move" button. This is in the right-hand sidebar, towards the bottom.

   

   
   
4. Choose where to move the site or area from the drop-down menu. Then, click "Review Move." You will review the details of the move before approving it.
5. Decide whether or not to approve the move. Before you move forward, read through the details on the approval page. This should make you aware of any potential issues the system found with the move, such as site-specific inspection forms that would need to be reassigned.
6. Click "Approve and Proceed." This will begin the move, which may take a few minutes to finalize.

Why does it say my move cannot by completed?

If you select the area itself as the destination, or are trying to move the area to one of its own subareas, OrangeQC will alert you that the move cannot be completed. This is because you cannot move a folder inside of itself. Choose a different destination to continue.
